Eclipse Safety 101 - Safe Solar Viewing Using Proper Protection

A total solar eclipse will occur on Monday, April 8, in North America. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon completely or partially covers the sun. The Mount Allison Gemini Observatory will also be open (weather permitting) from 3-6 p.m. The telescopes will be open and equipped with solar filters and a limited amount of solar eclipse glasses will be available.
