Dramatic video provided by FOX 11 Los Angeles shows the Sepulveda Fire burning near the 405 Freeway near Sherman Oaks.

Flames from the Sepulveda fire spread across Getty View Park, just north of the Getty Center in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday evening, January 22, before the blaze was brought under control by firefighters. This video was posted by Tanee Tanespolnsuk who told Storyful he was driving home when he encountered the fire along Interstate 405. Several evacuation warnings were issued on Wednesday night by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), but were lifted early Thursday morning after crews stopped the fire’s forward progress. The Sepulveda fire was the latest blaze in a nerve-racking week as Southern California headed into a fourth consecutive day of red flag fire weather warnings.

A new brush fire, named the Sepulveda Fire, broke out near Interstate 405 and Sepulveda Blvd in Los Angeles. The fire sparked hours after fire crews started to achieve some containment on the Hughes Fire, which spread rapidly in a Los Angeles County suburb.
