The program is roughly 10 years old and races a wide variety of universitys from Michigan State to MIT. The car run a 600cc engine, everything is hand fabricated from the shocks to the carbon fiber panels.

Much of it was not as tidy as TIG would have been, but it was strong enough, and a lot faster. And, read the tutorials at the top of the page, for a better understanding of the welding processes. ( you might have already, but..)
