Snow will overspread the state from southeast to northwest between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. as lows fall into the 20s, the weather service said. Snow wind down between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday. Friday will be dry and sunny with highs climbing into the mid-to-upper 30s. Winds will be “noticeably lighter,” the weather service said.

More snow could hit Ocean and Monmouth counties this weekend, with chilly temperatures leading up to it. Snow will start spreading into the area Friday night into Saturday, according to Eric Hoeflich, meteorologist for the National Weather Service. Somewhere between 1 and 3 inches is expected for both counties.
