Utah Hockey Club is without another one of its stars. The team announced Friday that forward Logan Cooley is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury and will be reevaluated after the 4 Nations Face-Off break which concludes on Feb. 20.

Ahead of Utah HC’s game against the Florida Panthers on Jan. 16, Cooley sat out of line rushes at morning skate in case a lower-body injury prevented him from playing. He spoke to the media after morning skate, with bandages covering the upper portion of his leg. He ended up playing that night.

Cooley has emerged as one of Utah's most consistent offensive threats in his second year in the NHL. He is second on the team in points with 43 (15 goals, 28 assists) and has been centering Utah's top line with Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz over the past few weeks.

The Utah Hockey Club announced Friday afternoon that centre Logan Cooley will be out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. The team stated that he will be reevaluated at the conclusion of the 4 Nations Face-Off break.
