If Kendrick Lamar ’s “Not Like Us” wins record and/or song of the year at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Feb. 2, it wouldn’t be the first hit conceived as a Drake diss track to do so.

Drake is suing his own record label for defamation over Kendrick Lamar diss track calling him a pedophile. Drake is suing the label for this "false and malicious narrative" in a defamation suit against Universal Music Group.

All of which leads us to this month, and Drake's persistent attempts to sue his own record label — Universal Music Group, also the label that released Lamar's "Not Like Us" — for its role in the feud, claiming defamation and harassment over the "specific, unmistakable, and false factual allegation that Drake is a criminal pedophile."
