The Wolf Moon will arrive on Jan. 13, 2025, at 05:27 p.m. ET, according to NASA. The moon will appear full for about three days around this time, from Sunday evening into Wednesday morning, the agency said.

It’s time to let out a big howl. The full “wolf moon” of January will soon be glowing in the winter sky. The wolf moon will be the first of 12 full moons of 2025 — three of which will be slightly bigger and brighter “supermoons.

Look for the January full moon to rise from the eastern horizon around sunset, according to NASA. By midnight, the wolf moon should glow bright and round overhead before disappearing at sunrise into the western horizon.
