RICHMOND, Va. — It took a controversial full-contact finish but Austin Dillon claimed his first NASCAR Cup Series victory in two seasons in Sunday night’s Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway.

Carson Hocevar got slapped with a fine of $50,000 and a deduction of 25 driver points for initiating contact with Harrison Burton during a caution period at Ally 400.

Brad Keselowski hit the wall after contact with Austin Dillon in Turns 1 and 2. As the field slowed following the wreck with 58 scheduled laps to go, Hocevar took some frustration out on Burton.

Berry, Alex Bowman, Tyler Reddick, Erik Jones and Austin Dillon rounded out the top 10. Cindric had the 11th-best time in practice but had the fastest 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-lap averages.
