Bulls’ Coby White To Return Against Celtics
In a bit of a surprise, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan has revealed that guard Coby White is slated to return from an injury absence Wednesday against the Celtics, per K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network ( Twitter link ). White has been on the shelf with a right ankle bone bruise since January 19.
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White accomplished the nearly impossible on Monday night against the San Antonio Spurs. The Bulls were clinging to a one-point lead with under 20 seconds to play.
Coby White is not a dunker. Before Monday’s 114-110 win over the San Antonio Spurs, the Chicago Bulls guard had attempted only two dunks this season. He dunked only 14 times last season.
