Nedeljkovic gets goal, assist, 40 saves in Penguins win against Sabres
BUFFALO -- Alex Nedeljkovic had a goal and an assist and made 40 saves for the Pittsburgh Penguins in a 5-2 win against the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center on Friday. Nedeljkovic became the 16th goaltender in NHL history to be credited with a goal, and the 10th to shoot and score.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen wasn't able to bail out the Sabres when they began to make mistakes in the second period. Their starting goalie was outplayed by Penguins backup Alex Nedeljkovic, as Pittsburgh scored four consecutive goals and held on for a 5-2 win in KeyBank Center.
Playing well of late, Sabres try to extend Penguins' skid
JJ Peterka had two goals, while Tage Thompson, Alex Tuch and Jason Zucker totaled five points in that loss at Pittsburgh, which is five points ahead of the Sabres in the conference. Thompson, Tuch and Tucker combined for four assists and Ryan McLeod posted his first career hat trick during Buffalo's 4-2 home victory over Carolina on Wednesday.
