The Orioles appeared to have a decent shot at salvaging a split Wednesday after Cedric Mullins hit a grand slam in that six-run third inning. Charlie Morton, battered as a starter so far this season, managed three solid innings of relief, allowing only one run.
Clemens, who already had an RBI single earlier in the second game, slammed a Yennier Cano (0-3) changeup for a three-run home run. That proved enough as the Twins won 8-6, earning a doubleheader sweep and extending their win streak to 10 games. Minnesota won the opener, 6-3.
