The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without starting goaltender Anthony Stolarz for Game 2 against the Florida Panthers. Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube said Stolarz is still recovering from a head injury he suffered in Game 1, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

The Leafs backup was also called up to start during Toronto's 2024 playoff run. He stepped in for an injured Ilya Samsonov to help the Leafs win Games 5 and 6 of their first-round series against the Bruins, then was sidelined by his own injury during the team's Game 7 loss.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking to take a 2-0 series lead over the Florida Panthers tonight. Stolarz has been ruled out for Game 2 following a scary injury that he suffered in Game 1. The goalie had a collision with Panthers forward Sam Bennett and ended up being stretchered off the ice.
