Ahead of next week’s 2025 NFL Draft entry deadline, University of Wisconsin redshirt senior cornerback Nyzier Fourqurean sued the NCAA on Wednesday in hopes of obtaining a court order to stop the association from enforcing its five-year rule for D-I football.

Not long after the NCAA said JUCO years wouldn't count against eligibility, Wisconsin's Nyzier Fourqurean is seeking a similar ruling for Division II.

Wisconsin basketball slipped to a No. 5 seed in USA TODAY's latest bracketology update. The Badgers were previously up to the No. 4-seed line after a stellar stretch of play dating back to mid-December. That slot preceded the team's loss at Maryland on Wednesday, its second road defeat in its last three games.

Not that Wisconsin needed a reminder, but life on the road in the Big Ten isn’t easy. The Badgers, who drained 32 three-pointers in the previous two games, got a taste of their own medicine in the second half at Maryland on Wednesday night.
