Ty Johnson’s journey from Maryland to New York has him eager to send the Bills to the AFC championship at the Ravens’ expense.

Johnson was blindsided when the New York Jets cut him in April 2023, but the former sixth-round draft pick landed on his feet four months later. The Bills signed the Maryland product in August and placed him on the practice squad for the start of the 2023 season.

Up by six points at the time, head coach Sean McDermott and offensive coordinator Joe Brady decided to go for it and let Allen work his magic —which he did. The quarterback bought some time, rolled right, and found running back Ty Johnson across the back of the endzone for a touchdown.
