MIAMI - A few showers and light sprinkles moved across parts of South Florida on Thursday morning. Keep the umbrella close because the chance of rain is high on Thursday and Friday. It was not as chilly Thursday morning but still cool with temperatures mostly in the low 60s, some inland areas saw the upper 50s.
Saturday and Sunday will see much warmer temperatures with a southern breeze and more sunshine. An area of rain showers will push north through the area early Saturday before rain chances drop by the afternoon. Highs will push above 80 degrees on both days with a good deal of sunshine.
Call it South Florida or be more specific and call it southeastern Florida, one thing is for certain: The area stretching south along the coast from Port St. Lucie to Miami is packed with golf courses.
