After a week of nasty weather across Florida, the business of launching rockets got back on track Monday afternoon. A SpaceX Falcon 9 lifted off at 5:05 p.m. Eastern time from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 carrying 21 of the company’s Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit.

The Blue Origin rocket was delayed to no earlier than 1 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12 due to unfavorable conditions offshore. The company delayed the launch to maximize chances at successfully landing the first-stage of the new rocket on its drone ship in the Atlantic. This brings the SpaceX launch to the front of the line.

SpaceX launched another batch of its Starlink internet satellites from Florida's Space Coast today (Jan. 27). A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 21 Starlink spacecraft, including 13 with direct-to-cellphone capability, lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station today at 5:05 p.m. EST (2205 GMT).

SpaceX is preparing to send its next round of Starlink satellites into lower Earth orbit with a launch scheduled for Monday afternoon at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, officials said.
