Matt Shaw hit a walk-off sac fly in the 10th inning to help the Cubs beat the Cleveland Guardians on July 3 to complete a 3-game sweep in Chicago.

Cantillo made eight starts for the Guardians last year but did not face the Cubs. He made 21 relief appearances for them this year before being sent down about a month ago. His max pitch count in those 21 appearances was 55, back in April, and in four starts at Columbus his max pitch count was 62. So he’s likely on a pitch limit tonight.

Every Cubs batter who stepped up to the plate in the 2nd inning against the Guardians on Tuesday reached safely, but baserunning errors cut the rally short.
