Bruins open big week before break by running Wild out of TD Garden
With the Eastern Conference playoff race heating up even as the NHL approaches a shutdown to contest the 4 Nations Face-Off, the playoff-hopeful-but-not-positioned Bruins started a busy week of three games in five days with a 3-0 shutout of the Wild at TD Garden.
Swayman makes 34 saves, Bruins shut out Wild
BOSTON -- Jeremy Swayman, who will represent the United States at the 4 Nations Face-Off from Feb. 12-20, made 35 saves for the Boston Bruins in a 3-0 win against the Minnesota Wild at TD Garden on Tuesday. It was Swayman's third shutout this season and 15th in the NHL.
The Wild’s 3-0 loss to the Bruins was the first time Minnesota has been shut out in back-to-back games since Nov. 2022.
