Authorities in northern California have confirmed the recovery of the bodies of seven people who had been reported missing following last week's explosion of a warehouse storing fireworks near Sacramento.

The explosion, which left seven people missing, started a wildfire and forced some cities and counties to cancel or postpone Fourth of July fireworks shows.

Authorities say human remains have been found after the Tuesday explosion and fire at a fireworks warehouse in the Northern California community of Esparto. On Friday, Yolo County officials announced that human remains were located after coroner's division personnel were allowed to access the site for their investigation.
