The Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings will make NFL history when they play in Week 4 in Dublin, Ireland. Steelers-Vikings is the first matchup in NFL history to occur in three countries during the regular season.

The Steelers have a long history with Ireland. The team played an exhibition game there in 1997 at Croke Park against the Chicago Bears. Also, the late Steelers president Dan Rooney served as ambassador to Ireland under the Obama Administration. The Rooneys are of Irish descent. The Aaron Rodgers “leaks” surrounding the Steelers have become few and far between — and thanks to CBS Pittsburgh’s Rich Walsh, a new rumor was just debunked. Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan reported on Saturday that Aaron Rodgers may have joined the Nevillewood Country Club — one of the best private golf courses in Pittsburgh.

Without a true answer at their starting quarterback spot, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been linked as a favorite to land future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. All offseason the two have talked and met at the Steelers facilities.
