Chris Rooney was hurt 13 seconds into the second period when he caught an errant stick in the face during the Panthers-Maple Leafs game.

The game was stopped for several minutes and a stretcher was brought onto the ice, but Rooney skated off with some assistance.

Game 7 between the Maple Leafs and Panthers was paused after an official was bloodied by a stick early in the second period.
