New Orleans is preparing for historic snowfall on Tuesday, but the most snow the city has ever seen in history was on Valentine's Day more than a century ago. Back then, a low-pressure system that formed over southern Texas dumped piles of snow along the Gulf Coast in what is still considered to be the most intense snowstorm to ever hit New Orleans.
