Wendy's CEO Kirk Tanner has been appointed to replace Michele Buck, to lead Hershey starting on August 18 on Tuesday.

The Hershey Company on Tuesday said that it has hired Kirk Tanner as its new CEO to replace the retiring Michele Buck, with Tanner leaving fast food giant Wendy's, where he was CEO for just over a year,

Buck announced in January her intention to retire from the company after 20 years; as chairman also, she largely steered Hershey’s acquisitions into salty snacks.
