ATLANTA — Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is currently under a ground stop, meaning planes cannot fly in our out of the airport. According to flight tracker Flight Aware, more than 1,000 flights at the Atlanta airport have been canceled on Friday. Another 500 flights have been delayed.

All flights out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport are currently paused, with a ground stop effect until 2 p.m.

Thousands of flights have been canceled, including more than 400 out of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport – the nation’s busiest airport – where a ground delay has been issued.
