Ireland got off to a five-point start to its bid for an unprecedented third straight outright Six Nations rugby title, overpowering England in a second-half recovery to rack up a 27-22 victory in Dublin on Saturday.

Ireland win a five metre scrum in the strangest of circumstances. Try scorer Cadan Murley misjudges the high ball, touches it and then forced to try play it out of the try zone. Ireland pile on the pressure and force England back to win the scrum. A bad mistake from the debut boy.

In a dramatic start, England debutant Cadan Murley pounced on Henry Slade's grubber kick through to score before the away side had to withstand heavy pressure. After Ellis Genge and Marcus Smith were yellow carded, Ireland No.9 Jamison Gibson-Park crossed but five points from the boot of Smith saw England lead 10-5 at the break.

This defeat was far too familiar for England as they lost 27-22 to Ireland in Dublin. Just like we've seen all too often, England fell away in the final quarter of the match, the bench failed to bring any second wind,

IRELAND’S U20 SIX Nations campaign began in defeat to champions England in a drudging curtain-raiser at Virgin Media Park, Cork. On a rainy, windy night on Leeside, England’s suffocative defence weathered a series of Irish storms and the pinpoint boot of Ben Coen did the rest of the damage as the visitors made a deserved winning start to their title defence.
