Sergei Bobrovsky made 19 saves, Florida scored three times in a 6:24 span in the second period and the Panthers routed the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-1 in Game 7 on Sunday night to advance to the Eastern Conference final.

The Panthers’ offense exploded for six goals, which proved to be more than enough to beat the Maple Leafs and advance to the Eastern Conference final for the third straight year.

After the Dallas Stars won their series against Winnipeg late Saturday, 2-1 in overtime, the NHL confirmed the Eastern Conference Final between Carolina and the winner of Sunday’s Game 7 between Toronto and Florida would start on Tuesday, May 20 at 8 p.m. The Western Conference Final between Dallas and Edmonton will start Wednesday.
