NHL Draft Lottery did not treat the Boston Bruins kindly. The Original Six club dropped from the fifth spot to the seventh spot, which was the worst possible outcome for them.

In the draft lottery for the first time in almost a decade, the Bruins entered Monday night clinging to their slim — 8.5 percent, to be exact — hopes of winning the No. 1 overall pick. Instead, it quite literally went as bad as it could've, with the Bruins dropping down as low as they could've of, all the way down to the seventh overall pick.
